THINGS TO DO IN SPRING

This week's blog is written by our lovely guest blogger Chloe Williamson.

Spring is one of the best times of the year, with warmer weather and longer days, life gets so much brighter and the hustle and bustle of London gets even more interesting.

Now that things are opening up again we have so much to do and so many fun places to go! Take a look through our top 5 recommendations of what to check out in London this spring time.

Visit A Botanical Garden

With a variety of beautiful botanical gardens to visit across London we really are spoilt for choice.

Take a walk, enjoy the scenery and (hopefully) warmer weather and appreciate the serenity these gardens can offer, maybe even take your camera and capture some beautiful pictures.

So, whether you fancy visiting the 130 acre gardens in Kew Gardens in Richmond, or immersing yourself in the Instagram-worthy Sky Garden near Tower Hill, you definitely are not short for amazing places to visit.

Go To An Outdoor Theatre In Regents Park

Now this is something for all the Theatre loving gals out there...

Immerse yourself in classic stories such as Legally Blonde and 101 Dalmations this spring, pack your popcorn, bring your blankets and snuggle up under the stars.

Go To A Food Market

From the summer vibes of Mercato Metropolitano in Borough, to the six floors of food in Peckham Levels, visiting a food market in the spring is a total must.

Most London food markets are open until late, so whether you’re in the mood for Mexican street food or American BBQ Ribs, London has everything you could ever dream of in order to fulfil your cravings any time of the day!

Host a Spring Themed Party

Fancy yourself as a bit of a party planner? Then what better way to welcome Spring than with a celebration!

Grab some gorgeous decorations and bring the party outside (if the weather suits you, ofc!) Decorate your garden with fairy lights and candles and party until dark!

You could even add a gazebo, a bonfire and some blankets to add to the vibes!

Have a Picnic in The Park

What’s not to love about a picnic?

Take your favourite foods, lay out a pretty blanket and relax. Maybe even treat yourself to a drink or too...if it’s hot, remember to pack some sunscreen!

Now, picnic’s don't always have to be social, so if you fancy going on your own, maybe take a book to read or even a laptop to sit and watch your fave shows.

To ensure ultimate comfort, take a blanket, a pillow and maybe even take some fairy lights if you want to add a little romance.

Whatever you do this Spring, have fun, look after yourself and others and remember to stay safe!
