5 Denim Staples For Every Gals Wardrobe
Us gals at CL believe that denim is a must for any Queens wardrobe. Easy to style and transition in to each season, denim is a staple! Now we’re not just talking jeans gals, we're obsessed with anything denim and right now we’re LOVING coloured denim. To ensure you gals are slaying this summer, we’ve put together our five fave denim must haves…
1.Chilling in Bae’s Jeans
We know all too well that shopping for that perfect pair of skinny jeans can really take its toll on a Queen. This season however we are OBSESSED with boyfriend jeans! Retro, chic and serious 90’s vibes, we’re all about that oversized look. Super comfy and easy to style, we love wearing ours with a simple tee during the day and a cute cami and blazer for an evening look. For a more edgy vibe, a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans are FAB – also great for summer time!
2. Shorts on Pins Out
For serious outfit goals, you gals need to get yourselves some super cute denim shorts! So versatile, classic and on trend, you Queens are sure to be slaying! During summer we team ours with grungy band tees for a badass vibe or pretty blouses for a more feminine look.
Top tip: If finding the perfect pair of shorts is proving a challenge, get thrifty and cut an old pair of jeans to make your perfect style.
3. So Not Over Overalls
A love or hate item (we LOVE) are dungarees! We are literally obsessed! So fun and cute and super instagramable, dungarees are our new fave this summer. Team with a simple stripe tee and trainers for a laid back classic look or an oversized sweatshirt to rock those 90’s vibes.
4. Denim Dressing
Summer wouldn’t be summer without that perfect little dress. This season we’re obvs loving denim dresses. Perfect for those days when we’re feeling extra girly and sassy, we love wearing ours with delicate sandals and paired with a chic bag. A denim smock dress is our BFF for those days when we still want to slay, but may have overindulged in one too many cupcakes. For a sophisticated vibe, shirt dresses are perfect. But for a cuter look, a denim pinafore is ideal.
5. Classic Denim Jacket
Denim jackets are an absolute classic and finish off any gals outfit. So versatile with serious chilled vibes, a denim jacket is essential for those cooler summer days. For a sophisticated and chic vibe, a white denim jacket is perfect – so classy, and so chic paired with a pretty blouse. For a classic 90’s look, an oversized denim jacket is perfect! Right now we’re loving pins and patches for a retro and seriously on trend vibe.
Top tip: Don’t shy away from colours gals. Coloured denim is perfect for adding some edge and sass to your outfit.
