Last Minute Christmas Sparkles

December is slowly coming to an end gals which can only mean one thing... IT’S CHRISTMAS!! Literally only days away, us gals are SO excited (if you couldn’t already tell) and we cannot wait for the big day! Obvs we’ve already eaten about 1000 mince pies and had way too many glasses of bubbles, but us gals are all about the Christmas vibes and soaking up the festivities...

Here at CL HQ us gals think one of the best ways to start indulging in all the Christmas feels is by putting you decorations up early – that’s right gals, ours went up on the 1st! But, being Queens we know you gals have super busy schedules and things can easily get left to the last minute during December...so, we thought we would put together the best, (and last minute) ways to decorate your home in time for Christmas day!

Whether you go OTT with all the lights or just love a simple sparkle, we’ve thought of something for every Queen...

1. Twinkle Lights and All Things Bright

What better way to start Christmas than coming home to all the twinkling lights at your front door!

Obvs we love going over board with lights but this can get super pricey, so hanging some simple light decorations in your window can not only look super festive but it looks so minimalist and chic! But for you gals who spare no cost in December, go all out this year by wrapping twinkle lights around your front door and along the window ledge – although OTT simple white lights can look seriously fabulous!

2. Fabulous Door Hangings

If lights aren’t your thing, how about hanging a gorgeous wreath on your front door! SO festive and seriously effective, Christmas wreaths are the perfect way of starting the festive celebrations right at your door (literally).

Whether you go for a traditional wreath made from foliage or a super sassy bauble design, the high street offers a fabulous choice of wreaths for every Queen’s taste.

If you do have the time and feel like getting crafty this Christmas, why not make your own wreath? Super fun to do with the squad and perfect for adding your own touch. Check out our 7 Ways To Get In The Christmas Spirit for ALL the wreath making tips!

3. Garlands Galore

Once inside your palace, what better way to feel all cosy and festive then with a fabulous garland draped along the staircase! So festive and perfect for giving your home ultimate Christmas goals. A traditional garland decorated with pine cones and robins is adorable, but if you’re like us gals and want something spectacular and sassy, a garland scattered is shiny baubles looks incredible!

4. The Heart Of Christmas

The one thing us gals look forward to more than anything at this time of year is putting up the Christmas tree! Not only is it not Christmas without a tree, but it’s the centre piece and heart of the day (minus the food). Obvs ours is already up, but if you’re a last minute tree decorator, now is the perfect time to get some last minute decorations on sale.

Chose a theme, we OBVS chose pink, and build your tree around that! Whether you go for something simple and classic or an array of colour and sparkle, every Queen deserves a fabulous tree!

5. All In The Accessories

For ultimate Christmas decoration goals, why not hang up some banners and accessorise your home! Festive words, animals or simply some old skool paper chains can all look fabulous. Super affordable and effective, a lovely festive banner can turn a rather dull room into something spectacular!

6. A Little Something Special

There’s nothing cosier than snuggling up in your Christmas pj’s, sipping on hot chocolate whilst watching The Holiday now is there?! But, to do this we think its super important to have something festive to snuggle up in....that’s right gals, festive bedding!

So cute and ideal for decorating your room, festive bedding and cushions are a super simple and easy way to achieve a last minute and Christmas feel to your space! Us gals are totally obsessed with all things pink and sparkly but if you prefer a more traditional set, a fairisle print looks amazing!
