A Queens fave autumnal bakes

Us gals at CL absolutely love baking and we think Autumn is the perfect excuse to cosy up and indulge in something delicious and homemade! With so many seasonal flavours (YAS to pumpkin spice), us gals can’t resist baking up a treat for ourselves!

Whether we’re indulging in pumpkins or having a second cupcake, us gals wanted to share our go to autumnal bakes with you...

1. One Doughnut Too Many

Perfect for a Friday treat and sharing around the office, us gals love ourselves a good doughnut or two! Of course a classic jam doughnut is a fave of ours, but right now we’re loving chocolate covered doughnuts.

For the autumn season, orange icing is perfect! Paired with gold sprinkles and edible glitter, you’ve turned a standard doughnut into something fabulous!

2. Pumpkins and Unicorns

It wouldn’t be a CL blog post without mentioning unicorns now would it? These unicorn pumpkin cookies are incredible and a definite FAVE of ours – super cute and perfect for tucking into with a cup of tea, (cocktail).

To make these from scratch gals, make sure you save all the inside of your pumpkin after carving it for Halloween!

3. Toffee Apple Cupcakes

Nothing tastes like autumn quite like toffee apples! Flavoured in butter cream cupcakes, these go down a treat with the squad!

You gals know Queens have busy schedules so we recommend buying toffee apple flavouring to save time. So simple and easy to make, these cupcakes are perfect for enjoying on bonfire night!

4. Caramelised Pecan Pie

Is there anything more sophisticated then showing of your pecan pie baking skills? We think not. So autumnal and perfect for enjoying after a cosy walk, caramelised pecan pie is one of our fave deserts right now! Paired with ice cream or slightly warmed, we’re swooning over this comforting pud!

Our only tip gals – make plenty, one slice is never enough!

5. Mountains of Marshmallows

One of the best things about autumn is snuggling up with a hot chocolate right?  Although it’s not baking, we just couldn’t resist throwing it in!

For serious autumnal vibes, cover your hot chocolate in whipped cream, marshmallows and sprinkles! For you gals who don’t like whipped cream, just add extra marshmallows! If you gals like your seasonal flavours, a stick of cinnamon is cute and super instagrammable!
