Getting Cosy On Bonfire Night

How are we already in November gals?! With a fabulous month of Halloween themed fun been and gone, we’re already planning our schedules for this month. Straight in on the calendar of course is bonfire night! It’s one of the cosiest and exciting evenings of the year and we cannot wait to celebrate the 5th November!

To help you gals plan something magical, we’ve put together our top 4 ways to spend bonfire night and of course, a bonfire night essentials checklist!

1. Classic Evening Out

Of course our first idea and by far the most obvious is to attend your local bonfire night! There’s nothing quite like being amongst a large crowd of people who are fixated by a spectacular bonfire and it’s gorgeous glow!

For all you fashion bloggers, wrap up warm – bonfire night is the perfect time to bring out those fur collars and luxury knits!

2. Getting Cosy By The Fire

For you gals who aren’t a fan of large crowds but still want to enjoy the evening, a cosy night in is a lovely way to spend it! Dig out your cosiest socks and PJ’s and snuggle up by the fire place with a seasonal and comforting film! It’s also the perfect time to enjoy the rest of your pumpkin cookies (if you’ve got any left from Halloween).

3. Camp Fire With the gals

Of course safety comes first with this one gals, but setting up your very own campfire with the squad is SO much fun!

Holding your campfire in your back garden is a great idea and you can pop in and grab loads of cosy cushions and blankets to make a cute den for you and your gals to enjoy. Fill the evening with yummy treats, seasonal drinks and games, you and your gals are sure to have a fabulous time!

4. Dining Out

Eating out is something us gals at CL love to do! There’s something rally cosy about enjoy a meal out with friends or family in a quaint and homely pub, (or restaurant).

Whether you spend the evening drinking seasonal cocktails or over indulging in all the carbs, a meal out is a super chilled and low key way of celebrating the night.

Bonfire Night Essentials

Okay gals, so you’ve got your bonfire night planned but the night wouldn’t be complete without our CL checklist:

Marshmallows

Is it even bonfire night if you’re not toasting marshmallows! An absolute must, and so delicious! Our fave way to eat them is sandwiched between two cookies (obvs) to make a sort of smores, but if you don’t fancy that, they are simply scrummy on their own!

Seasonal drinks

Whether you’re a classic hot chocolate kinda gal, or a serious hot apple cider lover, these autumnal drinks are essential! Super warming and cosy and perfect for enjoying after the fireworks.

Knits and Cosy Sweats

Chunky knits, fur collars and killer coats are what we’re about this autumn and there’s nothing cosier than getting all wrapped up and heading out for the evening! If your having a night in, or even for your return, make sure you’ve got your best and cosy loungewear out ready to snuggle up and chill!

Every Queen Needs To Sparkle

A classic touch to any 5th November celebration is sparklers! Obvs make sure you’re wearing you gloves, but there’s something so pretty about the tiny stars bouncing off the sparkler!

For all you Insta gals, sparklers are SO Instagrammable!
